How a meaning is reviewed
Every entry must identify a place, explain the intended meaning in plain language, describe register and tone, give natural examples, warn about ambiguity or misuse, connect related meanings, and cite a visible source.
What LocalMean does not publish
We do not publish scraped synonym lists, invented pronunciation claims, search-keyword pages without a distinct purpose, anonymous submissions without review, or claims that one local usage represents every speaker in a city or country.
